2012, thus providing the home with improved facilities and beautiful lounges with lovely views over a busy area of the solent. daily life at the moorings many of our residents like to start the day early, with a cup of tea brought to them in bed, any time from 6am. our staff are on hand when residents choose to get up, providing help for those who require assistance. breakfast is served at 8:30. living accommodation at the moorings set in its own grounds and with views over the solent, the moorings is regularly renovated and updated to create a practical and relaxing space. our aim is to make our residents feel at home and the building is designed to make it easy to move. therapies and care at the moorings a caring touch can make give huge benefits to residents who sometimes feel isolated and alone. a caring touch is a gentle, welcomed one, and may range from holding a hand to a comforting hug to a therapeutic massage. social and leisure at the moorings at the moorings, our goal is for facility. our passenger lift ensures that you do not need to negotiate any stairs. we realise how important it is for people to relax and feel comfortable and, at times, pampered. we employ a holistic therapist who will arrange massages and reflexology to help keep our clients feeling calm and soothed. our hairdresser has cared for our clients' hair for the past 20 years and she visits each week to make sure everyone feels their best. our staff focus on ensuring everyone has their specific needs met. social activities are available to join in or just to sit and watch. the moorings is registered
